Help us grow!
The Voice of Philadelphia, a nonprofit online newsroom, has already made a noticeable impact on the Philly community, particularly in neighborhoods that haven’t had their fair shake in media coverage.
We are committed to providing high-quality journalism and expansive coverage of our city’s diverse – and often overlooked – neighborhoods. As a non-profit, we put quality above the bottom line. That’s why we need your help. The Voice of Philadelphia is seeking individual donations to help us continue to build our publication, make long-standing connections with the community, and give a voice to the people and issues not covered by the mainstream news.
Please consider donating $100, $50, or even $25 to support this critical news source for Philly’s under-represented communities.
Your fully tax-deductible contribution will help us to:
- devote time and resources to thought-provoking investigative and in-depth pieces affecting our neighborhoods.
- provide FREE training to citizen journalists from underrepresented communities.
- purchase the latest software to develop our web site into a fully-functional multimedia portal.
- subsidize transportation costs for our interns, who have been vital in providing daily content for our site.
- hire full-time staff to oversee the daily operations of the publication.
We are passionate about making the Voice of Philadelphia the premier independent news site in the city and the region, but we need resources to continue our growth. Your donation will help us achieve our mission to channel the diverse voices of our city’s neighborhoods.
Any amount you can give will have an immediate impact. You can make a donation online or writing a check payable to:
