Mission Statement

The Voice of Philadelphia, Knowledge News Network’s inaugural venture, seeks to give voice to historically underrepresented populations. The Network provides vigorous coverage of marginalized and disenfranchised groups by training citizen journalists to raise awareness of locally relevant topics, and by building productive working relationships between progressive organizers and local communities.
